InterManager: Ukrainian Serafarers

Dear Members

Following on the positive news regarding Ukrainian Government allowing seafarers age 18-60 to leave country and proceed to sea resuming their employment.

We are working with ITF (Marine Trade Union of Ukraine) for detailed procedure as there are 3 different categories of seafarers and several steps required. Some steps require our members participation (signing contract for example)
 

We understand that there are some conflicting procedures issued in Ukrainian which might be available for your local offices, which confuse a lot of people.

We hope to have one, tested and agreed procedure shortly.
